About

Nora Foundation

Nora Foundation is a compassionate, people-centered non-profit organization devoted to uplifting and empowering individuals from marginalized communities, as well as those facing physical, emotional, social, or economic challenges. We are committed to building a more just and inclusive society, one where every individual, regardless of their background, abilities, or circumstances, is given the opportunity to live a life of dignity, respect, and purpose.

Our vision is rooted in the belief that every human being deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. With this in mind, we have developed a wide range of impactful initiatives aimed at addressing the multifaceted needs of the communities we serve. From nurturing and guiding children with special needs, to extending compassionate care to the elderly, from empowering vulnerable families to ensuring no one goes hungry — we work tirelessly to fill gaps, open doors, and light pathways for those who need it most.

At Nora Foundation, we believe in action driven by empathy. Our programs are not just services, they are lifelines that restore hope, dignity, and the belief that better days are possible. We focus on providing comprehensive support, including education, healthcare, emotional care, vocational opportunities, and basic sustenance, all delivered in a manner that respects and honors each individual’s unique journey.

Our efforts are powered by a dedicated team of professionals, volunteers, and supporters who share our belief in collective responsibility and the power of human connection. By working hand-in-hand with communities, we aim not only to transform lives, but to create a ripple effect of positive change that extends far beyond our direct reach.

We understand that real change takes time, trust, and teamwork. That’s why we stand firmly committed to our mission — to build a future where inclusion is the norm, not the exception, and where every individual is empowered to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.

At Nora Foundation, we believe in the transformative power of love, care, and community. And together, with your support, we can continue to create a world that embraces everyone — where kindness prevails, opportunity is shared, and no one is left behind.

Meet The Founder

Nora Foundation Founder - Dr. Paven Kumar Seelam
Dr. Pavan Kumar Seelam

In a country where access to clinical psychologists remains a pressing challenge, Dr. Pavan Kumar Seelam stands as a beacon of hope. With an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, he is among the select few professionals dedicated to addressing psychological and mental health concerns in both children and adults.

With over a decade of experience in leading clinical settings, Dr. Pavan has served at renowned institutions such as Gandhi Government Hospital (Hyderabad), Punya Koti Hospital (Karnataka), and Bala Yogi Hospital (Mysore), where he led as Head of the Department. His expertise is further enriched by specialized training from prestigious institutions across India.

Throughout his career, he has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, witnessing firsthand the struggles of parents navigating the complexities of raising children with disabilities. Many families, overwhelmed by financial and emotional burdens, find themselves lost in the search for quality mental healthcare. Moved by their challenges, Dr. Pavan resolved to bridge this gap.

Determined to make a difference, he envisioned a foundation that would break financial barriers and offer high-quality intervention programs at no cost. With this mission in his heart, he established Nora Foundation, India’s first initiative providing free therapeutic support to children with ADHD, autism, and physiotherapy needs—ensuring that every child, regardless of background, gets the opportunity to thrive.

Grace Roseline
Seva Project Director

Grace Roseline is the Director of our Seva Project and a true example of love and kindness in action. She is known by many as the Mother Teresa of today because of her selfless service to people in need. Every day, she thinks about how to help others. Her home is always open to anyone who is suffering — whether they need food, a place to stay, or someone to listen to them.

She helps sick people by arranging and even paying for their medical treatments. Many times, she has paid from her own money to save lives. She takes care of orphans, the elderly, and those living on the streets. She gives them food, shelter, education, and hope. Even people who are abandoned or pass away alone – she gives them a respectful funeral and prays for them like they were her own family.

For many years, Grace Roseline has been doing this work without asking for anything in return. She treats everyone with love and respect, no matter their background or situation. Children call her “Amma,” and people in the community say she is like an angel on earth.

Her heart is full of compassion, and her hands are always ready to serve. As the Director of the Seva Project, she brings strength, care, and a deep sense of humanity to everything we do.
